I felt strongly within me that this particular lesson shouldn’t be over until I have shared this all-big principle of solving problems.
In the previous note I named about four ways to tackle problem, and solve them to the finish. Around here I wish to add one more supreme way.
All those ways of solving nutty problems previously mentioned are kind of ever pointing to an help from ‘the outside’: reading a peculiar book which addresses your kind of obstacles, getting counsel from a consultative experts and so on. Besides all these, I want to bring it to your announcement that you can also solve your problem by looking within!
‘Within’, yes within!
If my statement could bring some honour to Waldo Emerson, then I would say, eventhough he’s dead, his words are still speaking power and virtue!
Emerson said, ‘What lies around and without are nothing compared to what lies within.’
What is the ‘within’? Well, without dabbling into deep topics of both psychology or religion, I would say that there’s this aspect of human being which though is unseen yet is more important than his seen frame. We are more than this ‘container’ which makes us to be a player in the physical world. I should believe that you my reader knows this better.
Now, our ‘inside’ aspect which is not seen has some powerful clues or hints to solving or handling difficulties if we can tap really into it, if we know how exactly. (I can prove to you that for example, there is more to brain than the grey or white matter, and so on. Ever since surgeons have been opening skulls, they have never been able to bring out wisdom as a physical thing, or been able to distinguish between a fool’s and a learned brain as it were.)
There are people not really given to any or heavy religion but which believed in this thing and then just live to benefit from it. From what? From tapping from our inner power. (This is a challenge therefore to any person who claims self to be of christian faith who but can’t really tap from the spiritual resources indwelling him according to the Biblical knowledge. Being a follower of the Bible teachings should rather be of help the more to any which walks this path. I’m a great witness to this soundly.)
So, there is always a need for you to contact your inward strength while you are wanting in solution to some challenges. There is always a solution. There is intution possible of being contacted at will with its searching or otherwise, on its own.
However I have found out that the folks which don’t believe in intuition can’t have it work for them! It means that it also functions better while believing it.
Backing it from my side of faith, a Scripture says something as this:
‘But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.’ (Job 32:8)
This tells us that, there is this eternal part of us which can relate with our Maker (Infinite Intelligence as referred to by some), which can proffer us solution in forms of inspiration to crack riddles, if we yield to it. Some inventors, scientists have reason to believe this. Also, people referred to as Ministers of God know that there is always a flowing stream of wisdom that quenches thirst after contacted or stirred within. (Read Book of Daniel in the for more insights.)
Why saying all these? I feel rather more justified not holding this back from you: there’s a help within us which we can tap from, depending on how we have been able to master it.
It’s a great peril to look for all outside helps without giving any reasonable thought to seeking help from our ‘within’.
I should say at this juncture, that a very good way to search for help within is to be given to thinking or better still meditation. Until now if you are not a regular ‘meditator’, irrespective of your faith, you are still limited! And you can quote me anywhere!
The eastern part of the world is sometime referred to as the ‘place of seat of wisdom’, but you would be helped to also know that the art of meditation, arguably, originated from that region. Better still, the Holy Book supports it.
How do you go by it? See your obstacles as a solved problem already; meditations also involve using imagination (visualization); use it generously, think wide and cut off limitations. The secret is, what you ‘see’ you will be. Think not to magnify your problems but to reasonably weigh them, and ‘invent’ if necessary options or means to handle or manage them. (So deeper than this is the discussion here discussed, in all, do good to practise thinking.)
The bottom line is: within you, there is a well of wisdom, therefore drink from it by using it!
